Shouvik brings years of specialized executive search ,recruitment consulting and financial services experience.
After graduating from University of Windsor with a degree in Economics and interest in capital markets Shouvik started his career at a hedge fund/private equity firm. Here he was involved in Investor relations, corporate development and inside sales. During this time he played a key role in driving the bottom line growth of several portfolio companies. Shouvik then relocated to Asia to join a global recruitment firm for a multi-million dollar start-up in the APAC region. In this role, Shouvik was instrumental in establishing a Senior Finance Executive search practice. He returned to Toronto to develop a Banking and Financial services practice for a global recruitment firm.
Shouvik has extensive experience in executive placements across the Banking and Financial Services, Technology, Healthcare, Energy, Agri business, Cannabis, Blockchain, Mining and Real Estate sector.
He is a valued business advisor on executive talent for a wide array of clients ranging from start-up firms to some of the largest corporations in the world.
In his free time Shouvik enjoys travelling, exploring different cuisines and reading. He takes keen interest in stock trading and doing pro bono consulting for early stage companies.
